Job Duties:

As an English Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging English lessons to students
  • Assessing students' progress and providing feedback
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
  • Participating in parent-teacher meetings and school events

Required Qualifications:

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching English to students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the English language and literature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular activities
  • Collaborative work environment with supportive colleagues
