Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of students
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through a range of assessment methods
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other professionals to support student development
  • Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

PGCE, QTS, Degree in Education or related field

Education:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience:

Experience in teaching primary school students is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and educational best practises
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training or certifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Safeguarding

Working Conditions:

Work in a variety of schools within the East Midlands region, following the school term calendar and schedule

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
