Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Manage classroom dynamics and behaviour effectively
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practises

Required Qualifications:

  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in relevant subject area

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Recent experience in a classroom setting
  • Strong understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional subject-specific qualifications
  • Experience working with secondary school students

Working Conditions:

The ECT Teacher role will primarily be based in secondary schools in Nottingham, East Midlands. The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to deliver high-quality education and support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
