Protocol are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant in the Teesside region 

Here at Protocol, we work with schools right the way across Middlesbrough, Redcar, Cleveland, Stockton, Hartlepool, Darlington and County Durham. We work with amazing educators, such as yourself, and pair them with our network of schools. 

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who have a qualification in Early Years / or Educational Studies to join amazing team of supply staff. 

The ideal candidate will be able to work well within the team as well as supporting students 1:1 and in small groups.

What you need:

  • Good numeracy, reading and writing skills 
  • Excellent classroom managements skills 
  • An enhanced DBS (which is accessible) or must be willing to apply for one 
  • References covering the last three years of employment (preferably recent work experience with young lives)

A suitable candidate must have a strong knowledge of a classroom environment and preferably have experience working with younger people in a similar role. 

The ideal candiate    

  • Must be Full time (Monday to Friday) 8:30 - 3:30 
  • Offering guidance and support with regards to 1:1 learning 
  • Supporting the teachers and pupils by any means necessary in the classroom
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic and passionate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
