Protocol Education are currently working with a popular school that are requiring a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to help a brilliant pupil in their EYFS class. The pupil is intelligent however gets easily distracted. They enjoy regular classroom breaks where they get to run and play outside or in a separate room in the school. Your role would be to support the pupil throughout the day, supervise play breaks, and guide them with their classwork.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting SEN individuals on a long-term basis, this can either be personal or professional.
- Passion for childcare.
- Calm and patient manner.
Beneficial Skills/Qualifications:
- A degree/relevant qualification in childcare or SEN support (desirable not essential)
- An enhanced DBS on the update service. (or willing to purchase)
- A full, UK driving license (desirable not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
