Protocol Education are currently working with a popular school that are requiring a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to help a brilliant pupil in their EYFS class. The pupil is intelligent however gets easily distracted. They enjoy regular classroom breaks where they get to run and play outside or in a separate room in the school. Your role would be to support the pupil throughout the day, supervise play breaks, and guide them with their classwork.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting SEN individuals on a long-term basis, this can either be personal or professional.
  • Passion for childcare.
  • Calm and patient manner.

Beneficial Skills/Qualifications:

  • A degree/relevant qualification in childcare or SEN support (desirable not essential)
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service. (or willing to purchase)
  • A full, UK driving license (desirable not essential)
