Position: Design Technology Teacher

Location:Enfield, London

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP/January

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons as a Design Technology Teacher in accordance with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
  • Inspire and motivate students to explore and excel in the field of Design Technology.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
  • Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum as Design Technology Teacher.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience as a Design Technology Teacher at secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
