Role Overview: As a Drama Teacher working through our agency in Leeds, you will have the opportunity to engage students in the exciting world of drama and performing arts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering dynamic and engaging drama lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Nurturing creativity, confidence, and self-expression through various theatrical techniques and activities.
  • Organizing and directing school productions, drama clubs, and extracurricular activities.
  • Supporting students in developing their performance skills, confidence, and teamwork abilities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to promote cross-curricular initiatives and cultural enrichment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialization in Drama or Performing Arts with a strong subject knowledge.
  • Experience teaching Drama at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 is preferred.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Commitment to promoting the value of drama education and its impact on students' personal and academic development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
