Design and Technology Teacher

Location: Hackney, London

Compensation: £150 - £200 per day

We are actively seeking a dedicated and talented Design and Technology Teacher to join our esteemed school in Hackney, London. This full-time position offers a competitive daily pay rate ranging from £145 to £185, dependent on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate should possess either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Dynamic Lesson Planning:

    • Develop and deliver dynamic Design and Technology lessons that capture the imagination of students.
  2. Inclusive Learning Environment:

    • Foster a positive and inclusive learning space that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
  3. Adaptable Teaching Methods:

    • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  4. Assessment and Feedback:

    • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and meticulously track their developmental journey.
  5. Curriculum Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with colleagues to refine and enhance the Design and Technology curriculum.
  6. Classroom Safety and Setup:

    • Ensure a safe and well-equipped classroom conducive to practical activities.

Requirements:

  1. Teaching Qualifications:

    • Hold QTS or PGCE with a specialization in Design and Technology.
  2. Curriculum Proficiency:

    • Demonstrate a solid knowledge and understanding of the Design and Technology curriculum.
  3. Communication Excellence:

    • Exhibit outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Passion for the Subject:

    • Showcase genuine enthusiasm for Design and Technology, inspiring students to explore their interests in the field.
  5. Classroom Management:
