The role

Protocol Education agency seeks an experienced tutor with excellent written and spoken English who can tutor A level criminology and who can tutor maths and English and has experience working with students with ASC. Tutors must be available to tutor/teach in-person in Bolton, Manchester.

We strongly prefer tutors with good availability for in-person tutoring

You will be working for Protocol Education , part-time tutor, we operate on PAYE, NO UMBERLLA Companies.  Based on client demand, we are ideally looking for educators who are looking to tutor/teach at least 2/3 days a week

Key qualifications

All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children’s barred list) before commencing any tutoring assignments (we can apply on behalf of a candidate if not currently held). Candidates must also provide 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference. Candidates who have lived / worked overseas in the last 5 years will also need to provide certain overseas checks, including a police certificate.

In addition, candidates should have:

  • At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong subject knowledge in their tuition subject(s)
  • University qualification or studying towards one and A-levels
  • Passion for teaching and their tuition subject(s)
  • SEN tuition/teaching experience and a passion for working with students with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
