The Role:
- The Creative Classroom Assistant will be present during all curriculum lessons in the classroom, based in Gateshead.
- You will provide support to small groups of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- One-to-one assistance will be offered to students who require personalised learning approaches.
- We value collaboration and teamwork, and as a Creative Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with students, staff, and parents to create an inclusive and cooperative learning environment.
- This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in students' lives.
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential for this role.
- A current enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required, or the willingness to obtain one.

- Resilience and adaptability are key qualities required, as you will encounter changing situations in this role.
Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
