Creative Teaching Assistant - SUNDERLAND, UK

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Creative Teaching Assistant to join our team in Sunderland, UK on a full-time basis. This role is an exciting opportunity to support students in their educational and personal development, creating a positive and empowering learning environment.

The Role:

  • Provide classroom support during all curriculum lessons
  • Support small groups of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Offer 1:1 support to individuals who require personalised approaches to learning and development
  • Interact with students, staff, and parents to foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Current or willing to obtain an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Positive role model with a friendly, approachable, and patient attitude
  • Resilience and adaptability to changing situations
  • Previous teaching experience is desired, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
