Protocol Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Creative Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support students in their educational and personal development, working towards creating a positive and empowering learning environment.
The Role:
- Based in Gateshead, you will be present in the classroom during all curriculum lessons.
- You will provide support to small groups of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- You will also provide 1:1 support to individuals requiring personalised learning and development approaches.
- Interacting with students, staff, and parents to create a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
- This is a full-time position.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Current or willingness to obtain an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Positive role model with a friendly, approachable, and patient attitude.
- Resilience and adaptability to changing situations.
Desired previous teaching experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
