Calling all support workers and teaching assistants with diverse creative backgrounds in art, music, or acting! We are currently seeking passionate individuals eager to unleash their creative talents in the distinctive environment of a special needs school in Sunderland.

As a teaching assistant, you will play a critical role in cultivating creativity and enhancing students' abilities in a vibrant sensory setting. Your responsibilities will include improving hand-eye coordination, speech and language skills, social and communication abilities, independence, and cognitive processes.

But that's not all - you will also have the exciting opportunity to dive into various subjects, such as cooking, art, and music.

Key Details: - Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30 - Engage students through dynamic activities like music, art, P.E., and cooking

- Provide personalised support, focusing on elevating students' communication and hand-eye coordination

- Assist with sensory integration in the classroom

- Collaborate with teachers to assess students' levels and abilities
