Routes into teaching – Secondary support
If you have a passion for educating, are innovative and committed to raising standards then you could be the ideal candidate to be a Cover Supervisor!
We currently work with Secondary Schools within the LS16, LS17, LS18 and LS19 area who are seeking to appoint graduate and experienced cover supervisors who have a confident presence within the classroom and demonstrate a pro-active approach to covering pre planned lessons in all subjects. If you have a subject specialist (i.e, Drama, PE, Maths, English etc) this is ideal as they will aim for you to cover within your subject.
A cover supervisor role is the ideal position if you are seeking to begin or expand on a career within education as qualified teacher in the future or to even see if a career in education is for you.
We are able to offer work on a part time or full-time basis, and either a daily or longer-term basis. Usually once you begin working in local schools and you build strong relationships with the staff and students, it is likely you will continue to return to the same schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
