Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities provided by the absent teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, following the school's behavior management policies and procedures.
- Provide support and assistance to students as needed, promoting engagement and participation in learning activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and any issues arising during the lesson.
- Liaise with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure continuity of learning and effective communication.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subject areas and year groups.
- Confidence in delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and activities.
- A passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
