Cover Supervisor
We are looking for a flexible and reliable cover supervisor to join our Sunderland team of support staff immediately (pending clearance) . The successful candidate will be responsible for covering lessons across all key stages and subjects when teachers are absent. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools across Sunderland. Flexible working is also available.
Responsibilities:
- Covering lessons across all key stages and subjects when teachers are absent
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students are engaged and on task
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Providing feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
Requirements:
- A degree in any subject
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
- A positive and proactive attitude towards work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
