Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Class Teacher to join our vibrant team. As a Class Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students, foster their love of learning, and support their holistic development academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, and inspire them to achieve their full potential across the curriculum.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to participate actively in their learning and contribute to the classroom community.
  • Establish clear expectations for behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies that promote a positive and respectful learning environment, and foster students' social and emotional well-being.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, and use this data to inform your teaching and provide targeted support to address individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives, and contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress, share feedback, and build positive partnerships that support students' learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to promoting a love of learning in students, and supporting their holistic development academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective pedagogical practices for teaching primary-aged students, with the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and contribute positively to the school community through sharing ideas, resources, and best practices.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice, and a willingness to engage in continuous learning and improvement to enhance your teaching practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
