Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging and informative chemistry lessons to students
- Prepare and set tests, assignments, and examinations
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching chemistry at the secondary school level is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for chemistry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant teaching certification
