Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and informative chemistry lessons to students
  • Prepare and set tests, assignments, and examinations
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching chemistry at the secondary school level is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for chemistry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant teaching certification
