Role Overview: As a Business Studies teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring and empowering students to develop a deep understanding of the business world. You will deliver engaging and relevant lessons, foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and prepare students for success in both academic examinations and future careers in business and entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons that cater to the needs and interests of diverse learners.
- Cover a range of topics including marketing, finance, operations, and ethics, while incorporating real-world examples and case studies.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to explore and engage with business concepts.
- Assess student progress regularly through a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to curriculum development, and enhance the overall learning experience for students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Business Studies or a related field.
- Experience teaching Business Studies at Key Stages 4 and 5, with a track record of achieving positive outcomes for students.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for business and enterprise education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo relevant background checks.
