Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging biology lessons to students
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Provide feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Biology at the secondary level

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with exam board specifications
  • Experience implementing innovative teaching methods

Working Conditions:

The Biology Teacher will work in a secondary school setting in Ipswich, Suffolk. The role involves regular classroom teaching, student assessment, and collaboration with colleagues. The teacher may also be required to participate in extra-curricular activities and parent meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
