Exciting Opportunity for a Behaviour Support Worker!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students who may be experiencing behavioural difficulties.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies in collaboration with teaching staff and the SENCO.
  • Build positive relationships with students, offering guidance, encouragement, and emotional support.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual behaviour plans.
  • Monitor and record student progress, and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.

We are looking for a Behaviour Support Worker who brings:

  • Experience working with children or young people in a support capacity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience in dealing with challenging situations.
  • An understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
