Your Role in Dartford:

Embark on a fulfilling role as a Behavior Support Worker and Mentor, where you'll be instrumental in providing guidance and support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Building positive relationships with students, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
  • Implementing individualized behavior support plans and strategies to promote positive behavior.
  • Assisting students in developing social and emotional skills, promoting self-regulation and resilience.
  • Providing mentoring and one-on-one support to address specific needs and goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with young people in a school or alternative education setting.
  • Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
  • Empathy, patience, and resilience to work effectively with students facing behavioral challenges.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
