We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Mentor to join our team. As a Behavior Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who may be experiencing behavioral challenges, providing guidance, encouragement, and strategies to help them succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with students to address behavioral issues and challenges
  • Developing and implementing individualised behavior management plans
  • Providing one-on-one support and mentoring to students in need
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff members to create a supportive network for students
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress and behavior
  • Organising and leading group workshops or sessions on topics related to behavior management and personal development

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with secondary school students, preferably in a behavior support role
  • Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
  • Relevant qualifications or training in behavior management or counseling (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
