Our amazing school in Ealing is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Autism Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with autism, implementing tailored strategies to meet their individual needs.

Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with autism.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and academic development.

Assist in developing and implementing behavior management strategies to support the well-being of students with autism.

Provide ongoing feedback to teachers and support staff regarding student progress and needs.

Support students during academic and non-academic activities, ensuring their full participation and engagement.
Requirements:

Previous experience as an Autism Support Worker or in a similar role is preferred. This can be in the form of supporting a relative

Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and evidence of successful strategies for supporting individuals with autism.

Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are advantageous.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with autism.

Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
