A Secondary School in Doncaster is looking for aa Art Teacher to start asap. This opportunity is open to both NQTs and Experienced Teachers. This is a long-term opportunity, covering a period of extended leave and expected to last for up to a year.

This is initially a contract role with the school looking for someone for a year asap. The role may become permanent beyond this.

SCHOOL DETAILS:

A large academy based in Doncaster  that caters to children aged 11 to 18. Staff that we have placed into the school have provided us with very positive feedback about it being a fun and supportive place to work.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role will be working five days/week with a focus on art. You will be teaching children aged 11 to 18 and will be preparing children for their GCSE’s as part of this. The lessons are mostly pre-planned although you will also get some time in school for additional preparation and marking.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Outstanding practice in the classroom
  • Previous experience teaching art.
  • Supporting the ethos and long-term vision of the school
  • Must have a strong academic background throughout – GCSEs & A Levels
  • You must be looking to improve and be a hard-working individual
