Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging art lessons to students
  • Develop and implement art curriculum in line with educational guidelines
  • Evaluate and assess students' progress through assignments and examinations
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their artistic development
  • Organise and supervise art projects and exhibitions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Art or relevant subject
  • Experience in teaching art at various levels

  • Strong understanding of art principles and techniques
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students in their artistic pursuits

  • Postgraduate qualification in Art Education
  • Experience in working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The Art Teacher may need to participate in extracurricular activities and events outside of regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
