Job Duties:

The 1-1 Support role in a Secondary School involves providing individualised assistance and support to students. Duties include helping students with academic tasks, providing guidance on study skills, assisting with assignments, and supporting students in their learning progress. The role also involves collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure students' needs are met effectively.

Required Qualifications:

- Relevant experience in working with secondary school students

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Education:

- Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar support role within an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

- Understanding of the secondary school curriculum

- Ability to provide individualised support to students with diverse learning needs

- Excellent organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional certifications in education or support-related fields

Working Conditions:

- Work in a secondary school environment

- Regular working hours during school term times

- Collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
