Protocol Education are currently working with an excellent school in the Royston area who are keen to hire a new SEND Teaching Assistant.

This school have an exceptional ethos intended to support SEND students to get the most out of their education and offer a caring, encouraging environment to make sure their staff always feel appreciated.

This role would be working working 1:1 with students with challenging SEND needs on a part-time or full-time basis

 

The successful applicant will be required to:

- Help the class teacher in establishing a suitable classroom setting and proper resources.

- Feedback to the school SENCO regarding the student’s progress and any difficulties faced.

- Offer evidence to support SEND review meetings and support plans.

- Have a passion for working with SEND.

- Have a calm and understanding mindset in the classroom.

- Inspire independence in the students learning.

- Have relevant experience working with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
