We’re working with a fantastic primary school looking for a proactive and caring Teaching Assistant to join their Year 6 team from September. This is a key role—helping pupils prepare for SATs, stay motivated in their final primary year, and feel ready for the big move to secondary.
What the role includes:

Supporting pupils with English, maths, and SATs revision—both in class and through small-group work

Helping with emotional support and transition readiness

Working alongside the class teacher to keep routines on track

Providing a listening ear, a steady presence, and the odd motivational boost!
About you:

Experience working with KS2 pupils, ideally Year 6

Confident supporting learning in core subjects

Calm, approachable, and organised
-
Able to build strong relationships with pupils—and keep expectations clear
-
SATs experience is a bonus, but not essential
