About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming school community in Telford. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and supporting the academic and personal development of Year 5 students.
Your Main Duties:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 5 students, following the curriculum and schemes of work.

Work collaboratively with the Year 5 teaching team to plan inclusive and stimulating learning activities.

Assess and monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and keep accurate records in line with school policies.

Create a positive, safe, and encouraging classroom environment that supports every child’s growth.

Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning community.

Uphold the school’s values and maintain a respectful classroom atmosphere.

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development to contribute to the wider school community.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).

Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.

Good understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and effective teaching strategies for this age group.

Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work well with students, staff, and parents.

Ability to plan creative and differentiated lessons to meet diverse student needs.
-
Competent in assessment and record-keeping to track and support student progress.
