A school near Wolverhampton is looking for a full-time Year 5 Teacher. Having been recently rated 'Good' by Ofsted they are excited about taking the school into the next phase. They are dedicated about providing their students with the best possible opportunities to learn with regular trips and experiences to learn outside the classroom. The staff are extremely encouraging, and innovation is encouraged. The school places a high emphasis on CPD for teachers, with opportunities for training and mentoring.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for education, a deep understanding of the Year 5 curriculum, and the ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for students. Experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for a Teacher who:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and activities.
  •  Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 5 or a similar age group.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
