We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join our team in September 2025 and help our pupils thrive both academically and personally.

Role Overview:
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a central role in delivering an engaging and well-balanced Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will support pupils in developing greater independence and deepening their knowledge across a range of subjects, while fostering their confidence, resilience, and enjoyment of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire, challenge, and support all learners

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet the needs of individuals and groups

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leaders to share best practice and ensure high standards across the school

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to build strong partnerships

  • Contribute to wider school life, including clubs, trips, and whole-school events

We are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4

  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies

  • A reflective and collaborative approach to teaching

  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils
