About the Role

Are you an enthusiastic and caring teacher ready to support young learners during a crucial stage of their development? We are currently seeking a passionate Year 2 Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Telford, Shropshire.

In this role, you'll lead a Year 2 class, delivering the national curriculum with creativity and confidence. You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact during a key transitional year, helping pupils build the academic and personal skills they need to succeed.

We’re looking for an individual who brings both professional expertise and a nurturing presence to the classroom. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be fully qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience teaching in Key Stage 1

  • Show a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, with the ability to inspire curiosity and engagement in young children

  • Bring a calm and effective approach to classroom management, supporting positive behaviour and a focused learning environment

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, with the confidence to tailor learning to meet diverse needs and abilities

  • Value the importance of a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, where all pupils feel encouraged to grow and succeed
