Position: Year 2 Class Teacher
Location: Enfield, North London
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Day rate per day dependant on experience (PAYE – no umbrella companies)
Protocol Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded three-form entry primary school in Enfield to appoint a committed and experienced Year 2 teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative and supportive Key Stage 1 department within a forward-thinking school community.

Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching to a Year 2 class, in line with the national curriculum
- Collaborate with fellow Year 2 teachers to plan engaging and effective lessons
- Foster a positive learning environment that supports the development of each child
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience in a KS1 setting
- Sound understanding of the Year 2 curriculum, including phonics and assessment frameworks
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to build positive rapport with pupils
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A reflective and proactive approach to professional development
