About The Role:

  • Plan, create, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that align with the Primary school curriculum for Year 1 students.
  • Follow and adapt the school’s curriculum to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring lessons are tailored to individual abilities.
  • Ensure that all learning objectives are met, providing timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and foster a positive learning environment, adhering to school policies and procedures.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience for all students.

About You:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have prior experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally in Year 1.
  • Strong lesson planning and organisational skills, with the ability to design creative and engaging lessons.
  • Solid understanding of the Primary school curriculum and the ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
