Lovely Year 1 class in BD12 seeks equally lovely teacher
We’re working with a welcoming, one-form entry primary school in the heart of BD12, Bradford. They’re on the lookout for a nurturing and confident Year 1 teacher to cover maternity leave from September.
The vibe?
This is a close-knit school where staff genuinely look out for each other. Leadership are present and positive, and the class is ready for a teacher who brings a bit of fun and a lot of patience. Planning support is in place and the TA in class knows the children inside out.
You’ll have:

Full responsibility for a settled Year 1 class

PPA time protected each week

An experienced TA in class to support with routines and interventions

Who we’re looking for:
You’ve got QTS, recent KS1 experience, and a solid grasp of phonics (ideally Letters and Sounds). Most of all, you’re kind, consistent, and ready to make a difference—whether you’re early in your career or looking for a rewarding short-term role.
