Job Title: Work Experience (WEX) Coordinator

We’re seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Work Experience Coordinator to join our dynamic education team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the Work-Related Career Lead (WRCL) to implement a robust career programme tailored for Year 12 and 13 students.

Your key duties will include:

  • Working alongside the WRCL to plan and execute the careers programme

  • Identifying students suitable for placements and offering tailored support

  • Researching, securing, and maintaining meaningful WEX placements

  • Performing Health & Safety assessments for participating employers

  • Overseeing the progress of placements and collecting employer feedback

  • Producing reports that highlight student outcomes and learning progress

  • Assisting with the organisation and delivery of workshops and career-focused events

  • Building and maintaining partnerships with employers and volunteers to enrich student experiences

  • Guiding students as they prepare for life after Year 13—whether that be further education or employment

  • Flexibility to occasionally work during evenings as required

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A full, valid driving licence (this is essential)

  • Proven experience in Careers & Guidance or a similar field

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
