We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Walsall that’s looking for an enthusiastic Unqualified History Teacher. This is a brilliant opportunity if you’re considering a career in teaching, want to gain classroom experience, or simply enjoy sharing your love of history with young people.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering engaging history lessons (resources and support provided)

  • Managing a classroom and building strong relationships with students

  • Supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their potential

  • Working closely with colleagues and SLT for guidance and development

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree (History or related subject preferred)

  • Experience working with young people (youth work, tutoring, mentoring, coaching all count!)

  • Confidence, resilience, and strong communication skills

  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
