We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Walsall that’s looking for an unqualified History Teacher to join their team this September. They’re ready to support and develop someone with the right passion and potential — ideal for a history graduate or someone exploring a career change.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4 (lesson plans and support provided!)

  • Helping pupils explore big ideas, question the world and make links to today

  • Supporting with marking and classroom management, with plenty of guidance along the way

  • Getting involved in trips, enrichment and whole-school life — bring History to life beyond the classroom!


What you’ll need:

✅ A degree in History (or a related subject)
✅ Bags of enthusiasm and a genuine love for your subject
✅ A calm, approachable style with a willingness to learn on the job
✅ Ideally, some experience working with young people — but we’ll support you if you’re new to it!
