Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant – Secondary

Pay: £100–£110 per day (PAYE)

This role is ideal for someone experienced in supporting pupils with behavioural needs, SEMH, or SEND. You'll be a steady presence—firm, fair, and focused on helping students regulate, engage, and succeed.
What the role involves:

Supporting students who may display challenging behaviours

Using your Team Teach training to manage and de-escalate situations

Working closely with SENCOs and pastoral teams to deliver tailored support

Encouraging positive behaviour and building student confidence

You’ll need:

Valid Team Teach certification (past 3 years preferred)

Experience working with young people in secondary education

Resilience, consistency, and a calm, assertive manner

An understanding of SEND, SEMH, or trauma-informed practice
