You’re the calm in the chaos. The quiet confidence in a noisy corridor. The person who knows exactly when to step in, and when to stand back.
We’re on the lookout for brilliant Secondary TAs to join supportive schools across North Bristol. Whether you’re helping pupils stay on track in class, working 1:1 with students who need a bit of extra TLC, or backing up brilliant teachers with your classroom superpowers, you make the school day work.
What your day might look like:
-
Supporting students aged 11–16 in and out of class
-
Working closely with teachers to deliver targeted support
-
Providing 1:1 and small group interventions where needed
-
Helping young people build confidence, routine, and resilience
-
Being a friendly, reliable presence that students can count on
You’ll fit right in if you:
-
Have experience working with young people (in school or elsewhere)
-
Bring patience, humour, and a “let’s do this” attitude
-
Understand that sometimes progress looks like a small step, not a giant leap
-
Want to make a real difference—every single day
SEND experience? Thrive trained? Even better, but not essential. And if you're not yet Thrive trained, we've got free training to help you stand out (and support pupils even better).

-
Weekly pay through PAYE—no umbrella faff
-
FREE access to our online CPD Academy
-
Local schools, friendly consultants, no early morning guesswork
