Protocol Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bromley that is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Early Years and Key Stage 1 or 2 starting in September 2024.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain long-term classroom experience in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

  • Work with pupils in small groups or 1:1, including those with additional learning needs

  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes

  • Assist with preparation of learning materials and classroom resources

  • Provide emotional and academic support, promoting inclusion and well-being

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working in a primary school or similar setting (preferred but not essential)

  • Confident, proactive, and patient

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexible and able to work collaboratively with staff and pupils

  • Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
