Protocol Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bromley that is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Early Years and Key Stage 1 or 2 starting in September 2024.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain long-term classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

Work with pupils in small groups or 1:1, including those with additional learning needs

Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes

Assist with preparation of learning materials and classroom resources

Provide emotional and academic support, promoting inclusion and well-being
Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience working in a primary school or similar setting (preferred but not essential)
-
Confident, proactive, and patient
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Flexible and able to work collaboratively with staff and pupils
-
Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
