Teaching Assistant
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Protocol Education is working with primary and secondary schools in Telford and the surrounding areas to appoint adaptable and dedicated Teaching Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils’ learning, contribute to the classroom environment, and gain experience across a variety of settings.
Role Responsibilities:

Support pupils one-to-one or in small groups to ensure they remain engaged and confident in their learning.

Assist teachers with classroom preparation and organisation.

Proactively identify and address distractions to maintain focus during lessons.

Provide a calm, supportive presence for pupils throughout the school day.

Promote inclusion and help create a safe, positive learning environment.
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people (school-based or in youth/sports settings).

A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

A genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
