Teaching Assistant
Location: Telford, Shropshire

Protocol Education is supporting schools in Telford and the surrounding areas to recruit skilled and adaptable Teaching Assistants. This is a flexible supply role, giving you the opportunity to choose the days you work while making a real difference to pupils’ learning and development.

The Role:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils remain engaged and confident in their learning.

  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.

  • Identify and address potential distractions to maintain focus.

  • Offer consistent encouragement and guidance to pupils, fostering a positive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people in education, youth work, or a related setting.

  • A calm, proactive, and patient approach to supporting learning.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
