About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working closely with pupils who require additional support, particularly those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Your role will be pivotal in helping students access the curriculum, manage their behaviours, and build confidence in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with ADHD

Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored behaviour strategies

Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Foster a positive, patient, and supportive classroom atmosphere

Track and report on pupil progress in collaboration with SENCO and teaching staff

Encourage student independence and self-esteem
-
Support pupils during school trips, activities, and enrichment sessions
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children with ADHD or additional needs (preferred but not essential)

Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping every child succeed

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A proactive and flexible approach to learning support
