Protocol education is seeking a teaching assistant to join our school in Dagenham. Your responsibilities:
- Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities
- Assisting with the supervision of students in the classroom and around the school
- Providing one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties or special needs
- Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources with the teacher
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour control
- Supporting students in their learning and progress
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for supporting students and making a positive impact in their education
- Availability to work on short-term and long term assignments.
Required qualifications and skills:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably but not ideal)
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Patience and the ability to engage and motivate students
