The Role: Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
✨ Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ needs.
Provide 1:1 and small-group support across a range of subjects and abilities.
Encourage students to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive approach to learning.
Assist with behaviour management, emotional regulation, and social skills development.
Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.


We’re looking for someone who:

✅ Has experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential).
✅ Is caring, adaptable, and resilient, with strong interpersonal skills.
✅ Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
✅ Is enthusiastic about supporting SEND students in their learning journey.
✅ Holds (or is keen to gain) a relevant qualification such as Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning.
