Want the flexibility of supply work but still want to make a real difference?

We’re looking for compassionate, adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our supply pool in Bradford, supporting primary-aged pupils with special educational needs across a variety of schools. No two days are the same—you could be providing 1:1 support for a child with autism on Monday and helping a small group with speech and language needs on Wednesday.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties

  • Creating a safe, positive environment where pupils can learn and grow

  • Assisting with personal care where required

  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff

  • Adapting quickly to new settings and routines

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children with SEND (school or care setting)

  • A patient, empathetic approach and strong communication skills

  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude

  • Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff

What you’ll get from Protocol Education:

  • Weekly pay through PAYE – no umbrella companies

  • FREE access to our online CPD Academy (including SEN-specific training)

  • Personalised support from a dedicated SEN consultant

  • Flexible work to suit your lifestyle

  • Opportunities in mainstream, SEND, and alternative settings

  • Referral rewards when you recommend friends

If you’re ready to bring your skills, warmth, and adaptability to schools that value great support staff, we’d love to have you on board.

Apply today and start choosing when and where you work—while making a real difference in Bradford’s classrooms.
