Looking for a role where your care and patience make all the difference?

We’re on the lookout for a brilliant SEND Teaching Assistant to join a lovely mainstream primary school that truly values support staff. You’ll be working closely with classroom teachers to give pupils with additional needs the attention, structure, and kindness they deserve.

What you’ll be doing (and why it matters):

  • Helping children with SEND stay focused and flourish—whether it’s 1:1 or in small groups

  • Adjusting resources and routines so every child can access learning in a way that works for them

  • Cheering on progress (big or small) and helping pupils build confidence and independence

  • Being a go-to adult who stays calm, listens well, and champions inclusion every step of the way

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone with experience supporting children with SEND (Autism, ADHD, SEMH… or just needs a little extra)

  • A calm, steady presence who knows how to keep things positive, even on tricky days

  • A great communicator who builds trust with pupils, staff, and families

  • A real team player who’s in it for the kids, not just the job

Bonus points if you’ve got:

  • A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification

  • Thrive training (or fancy doing it—we offer it free!)

Why join Protocol Education?
