They’re now looking for a compassionate, resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and work closely with pupils who need that extra bit of support to feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.
About the role:
This full-time role will see you supporting one or more pupils with identified SEND—ranging from autism and ADHD to social, emotional, and mental health needs. You’ll be:
- Providing 1:1 support throughout the school day, adapting your approach to suit the individual
- Helping to deliver tailored learning activities and emotional regulation strategies
- Supporting transitions, break times, and structured routines
- Using clear, calm communication to encourage confidence and independence
- Collaborating with class teachers, the SENCO, and parents to create a joined-up support plan
No two days are the same, but every day makes a difference.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children with additional needs, either in school or another setting
- Understands how to de-escalate and support emotional wellbeing
- Can follow EHCPs and adapt support to match the needs of the moment
- Brings patience, warmth, and a can-do attitude to the classroom
- Is dependable, proactive, and genuinely wants to make school a positive place for every child
